April Showers

Hello my friends,

I can not believe how quickly our seasons are changing. Here in Maryland we hardly had a winter this year. Not much snow at all, now it’s time for rain. Lots and lots of rain. We all know when it rains, one of the best activities to do as a family is: pop some popcorn and watch some of our favorite movies.

If your family is anything like mine, then your choice of flicks to watch would more than likely be about the Paranormal. Which by the way I always miss at least half of because I have a habit of covering my eyes.But that’s just our little secret.

Anyway, I want to explain why I chose to write about watching Paranormal Movies today. Not only can they be quite terrifying, but they can also put these crazy ideas in someone’s head that every sound you hear in the house is a ghost, or if you ever encounter a ghost, it or they will have evil intentions.

Wrong! Most people will never experience any type of spirit contact in their lifetime. If they do, I can pretty much guarantee it won’t be with a malevolent spirit.

A little fun fact to pay attention to; Based on actual events- whatever the movie is about has real credible witness accounts of everything you are viewing.

Based on a true story- Someone told what had happened to the best of their knowledge.

So, honestly, there isn’t really anything to be afraid of when watching your favorite ghost movie. Yes, being scared is a natural reaction, believe me, I know. But it’s a fun, anticipating what’s going to happen next scare, right?
