"Strike a Pose-Photographing a Spirit"

StartFragment
Hello everyone,
It’s been awhile since my last article. Excited to report, moving forward with my writing. Finally, was able to publish my Paranormal Audio-book . Working on a few new projects, including my memoir. Not complaining…enjoying every minute.
So, let’s get down to business. Hope everyone is doing well. Can’t believe how quickly the end of the year is approaching us. My goodness how time flies. When you are a person like me who is diligently dedicated to your passion, time flies even faster.
I must admit I am not much of a Photographer. However, being in the Paranormal/Supernatural business taking pictures is a definite must. In the past I have had many doubts about photos which were taken by others. Most of us heard the belief of only an Infrared Lens can capture a “Spirit” on camera, if you will … let me try to clear some things up without being too confusing. Remember my mantra: “There’s a method to my Madness”.
Here we go: I often tell people…It’s entirely up to them, but I wouldn’t go out and spend a ton of money on a camera believing They"re going to be the “One” to finally capture a picture of a spirit. Why not you ask? Because there isn’t a camera that is able to do such a thing yet. How do I know this? Well, there’s really nothing to capture on a camera. They are a presence. (Spirits, that is) If some of you really in tune yourselves with the spirits, I promise they will reveal themselves to you.
Now let’s flip it over to the other side. Using Infrared lighting may get you a better-quality picture when the spirits are in their “Apparition State”. This is when they’re appearing to be “Ghosts” …a loved one who has passed on, someone who hasn’t crossed over, a Haunting. It still isn’t necessary to go broke on photo equipment. One of my best friends used a digital camera and captured an Apparition in a window. I went on a “Ghost Tour” a week ago and captured a face in a window. It’s extremely grainy and hard to see, but it’s there. However, the choice is ultimately up to the individual.
So, in closing my advice to you: don’t go broke believing everything you read on the Internet. See what works best for you. Having photos isn’t always the proof you need for people to believe in you. Believing in yourself is what matters in the end.
Peace and luv to All,
Maria M.
